The National Archives of Japan has inherited many books from the former Fujiminotei Bunko (later known as the Momijiyama Bunko), which was founded by TOKUGAWA Ieyasu. The holdings have been carefully preserved and made accessible. This exhibition entitled “Ieyasu, a Life of Twists and Turns” will feature the Edo Shogunate’s old book collections, primarily from Momijiyama Bunko. We will examine TOKUGAWA Ieyasu’s life from three significant perspectives: from his battles, from the diverse vassals who served him, and from the archives of published documents and records. 国立公文書館令和5年度第1回企画展リーフレット_表
