The JACAR Website Has Been Updated

On January 15, 2026, the Center launched its redesigned website.

The online content that we have steadily added over the years has been reorganized under a new, simple design, and we have added a menu bar to enable smooth access to the information you need. The search window has also been enlarged, making it easier for users to find their way into the database.

For users accessing the site from a smartphone or tablet, the layout will be adapted to their respective screen size.

The layout and chapter structure of educational contents such as “JACAR Learning” have been completely redesigned, and the scope of the materials featured has been extended to cover the Shōwa period after 1945. We plan to increase the number of materials featured on the site in the future.

Our newsletters and online special exhibitions are now easier to view. We hope you will find something that interests you!
