�@�@The "Sino-Russian Secret Treaty of 1896" is sometimes called the Sino-Russian Alliance of 1896. This agreement was sign by Special Envoy Li Hongzhang dispatched for the coronation ceremony of Nikolai II, Russian Foreign Minister Lobanov and Russian Finance Minister Witte in Moscow on June 3, 1896 (29th year of Meiji).
