October 8, 1895 　Assassination of Queen Min Title:Report from First Consul Uchida Sadatsuchi in Seoul about documents alleged to be official report of Korean Incident Reference code: A04010025000

It is an incident that Miura Goro, Japanese Minister to Korea, caused Japanese soldiers and adventurers to intrude into Gyeongbokgung Palace and assassinated Queen Min, wife of Korean King, Kojong. 　This is the translation of a survey report on assassination of Queen Min as printed in an English language magazine published in Korea. The content describes the progress of the incident in detail, proceedings in the court trial of this incident’s mastermind, and a rough sketch of the palace.
