Commentary	1919（大正8）年勅令第三百四十六号により、従来の関東都督府通信管理局が、関東庁通信管理局となった。郵便・郵便為替・郵便貯金及び電信電話の管理に関する事務、電信電話の建築並びに私設電信電話及び電気事業の監督に関する事務を掌った。通信管理局長は勅任であった。1920（大正9）年勅令第五百二号（「関東庁逓信官署官制」）により廃止され、関東庁逓信局に引き継がれた。
