Commentary	電気通信大臣は電気通信事業・電波管理業務・航空保安業務を主管し、電波庁および航空保安庁を所管した。初代大臣は小澤佐重喜（1949年6月1日 - 1950年6月28日）で、以後、田村文吉（1950年6月28日 - 1951年7月4日）、佐藤栄作（1951年7月4日 - 1952年8月1日）と続き、すべて郵政大臣の兼任であった。
