Commentary	内閣総理大臣の監督下にあり、中央物価安定委員会と地方物価安定委員会からなる。1946年3月3日物価統制令、第24条の規定により、その権限を与えられた事項につき調査審議した。物価庁の発足と同時に物価行政に関する国民の協力機構として、勅令で設置された委員会。
