JACAR held an agreement signing ceremony with Yamaguchi University Library for a data sharing partnership.

We are pleased to announce the conclusion of a data sharing partnership agreement between JACAR and Yamaguchi University Library. The signing ceremony was held at Yamaguchi University on Friday March 1st to commemorate the expansion of materials provided via our collaboration. JACAR Director-General Dr. HATANO Sumio signed the agreement with Dr. Marc LOEHR, Vice-President of the University, Professor and Director of Yamaguchi University Library. The new partnership means that materials made available in Yamaguchi University Library’s digital archives will be catalogued and released online also through JACAR’s database. The collection is provisionally titled “Materials related to modern East Asia”. We plan to make these materials available after the fiscal year 2024.
