Japan Center for Asian Historical Records (JACAR) held its 10th anniversary symposium, “Retrospect and Prospect: the 10 Years of JACAR,” at Waseda University on November 18, 2011. Download this PDF for a report of the event along with a synopsis of speeches notably given by Columbia University Professor Emeritus Donald Keene, Former Prime Minister of Japan Yasuo Fukuda, President of the National Archives of Japan Masaya Takayama, and Cabinet Office Minister Parliamentary Secretary Yasuhiro Sonoda.
