1.6 Keyword Search screen
Keyword Search
You can search the documents by keyword. The keyword items you can enter as search condition is described below.
■This may be useful when you search for documents related to historical matters or personal names.
(a)You may click on "Keyword Search" icon in the left frame to display the Keyword Search screen.
(b)In this screen, please input any keyword you wish to search by.
(c)After you entered keywords, please click on "Search" icon.

Description on functions of each search
■Synonyms & Related Words ON/OFF
It determines whether or not the search keyword should include the keyword's synonyms and related words registered in the dictionary for the search. Description on configuration is below.
| Synonyms & Related Words ON | It uses your keyword, its synonyms, and its related words for the search. |

| Synonyms & Related Words OFF | It only uses the keyword you have entered for the search. |
■matches per page
You can select "20", "50", "100", "200" from the pull-down menu as the number of matched records displayed per page.
About keyword input
■You can enter keywords to search by. The keyword items you can enter as search condition is described below.
How to enter search keyword
When you wish to use more than one keyword, you can enter multiple keywords in a search box.
- By separating each keywords with blank space, you can perform AND search.
example) Japan law ・・・ Documents containg "Japan" AND "law" are matched. - By separating each keywords with " | " (pipe), you can perfomr OR search.
example) Japan|law ・・・ Documents containg "Japan" OR "law" are matched. - By separating each keywords with " ! " (exclamation mark), you can perfrom NOT search.
example) Japan!law ・・・ Documents containg "Japan" but "law" are matched.
