 The following conditions apply in the case of secondary uses of downloaded materials. |
Provided that you comply with the conditions stated below, you are free to use materials downloaded from the database for personal purposes. In certain cases, however, prior consent from the Director General of JACAR may be required. You are, therefore, advised to practice sound judgment in the use of secondary use of materials as described below,
Please note that your access to JACAR's services will be immediately terminated in the case of unauthorized use, in the case of rule violation, or in the case of false application submission requests. Furthermore, JACAR reserves the right to claim any damages sustained.

| 1.For-profit use |
In the case of download materials for profit related purposes, prior consent from the Director General of JACAR is required. Request an application form from the Director General; upon receipt of the application, JACAR will examine the content and inform the applicant of the result (via the applicant's registered e-mail address).

| 2.Not-for-profit use |
In the case of downloaded materials being used for personal purposes (such as use in lectures, etc.), an application to the Director General of JACAR is required. Send an application to the Director General of JACAR.

| 3.For use in articles or research papers |
In the case of downloaded materials being used in articles or research papers, the abovementioned application procedures are not necessary. Nevertheless, please clearly cite the source of your information.
