1	How to use arithmetic operators between keywords	Select either of AND, OR, NOT from pull down menu.	In order to specify a complicated search condition, you may insert operators between keywords so that AND, OR, NOT can be used at the same time.
2	How to use dictionary	Synonyms and related words can be separately used.	Select "ON" or "OFF" from pull down menu for Synonyms and Related Words. Synonyms and Related Words OFF is set by default.
3	How to specify date range	Select date range of document to search.	When you wish to specify date range of document, you may do so on advanced search page.

1	How to browse dictionary	Enter search keywords and click "synonyms and relate wrds" button to browse synonyms and related words below the keyword box.	Enter search keywords and click "Browse dictionary" to display the synonyms and related words in new window. * Please refer here for more detail.
2	Clear button	* Clear button is located by each keyword box. * Clear button to reset all the search condition is located.	"Clear": It clears all the search conditions. "Reset": It resets the search conditions.
3	Documents available for search	Selectable search document * Subject only * Subseries only * Subject and subseries One of the options above can be selected.	Selectable search document * Series * Subseries * Subject All three are selected by default.
